Leiho launches new range of scented candles in partnership with The Baytree Centre

Remember when we posted a teaser on social media asking you to guess which product we’re working on launching next? 

We’re thrilled to announce that we have partnered with The Baytree Centre to launch our first range of candles. 

The Baytree Centre is an educational charity for women and girls, based in Brixton. Since 1991, they have provided holistic support through personal development activities and workshops, training and work opportunities aimed to equip the service users with skills, confidence and wisdom they need to thrive in all areas of their lives.

After hosting a painting workshop for the group of women at The Baytree Centre, we wanted to continue our relationship with them and thought that they are the perfect charity to launch our new product range with. 

The candles have been handmade by two lovely mums supported by The Baytree Centre who were looking to learn ways to help better themselves. We collaborated with Anu, founder of Kera London, to run the candle making workshop, to teach the ladies how to hand make the scented home fragrances, and give them an opportunity to learn new skills and gain employment.

The new range of candles are now available online, available in two scents:

1. The Relax & Unwind – Lavender & Bergamot Candle, is a herbal and refreshing citrus scent, aiding in relieving stress to improve your overall mood. 

2. The Uplift & Focus – Sandalwood & Sweet Orange Candle, has hints of orange, with a warm and woody aroma, to brighten up the energy around you.

The Candles are also available  at our pop-up, at Pexmas in Brixton Village (store #34 on Market Row) along with your favourite socks, t-shirts and water bottles. We’ll be there until the end of August so come along to the store and hang out with us.
