The AR Food Project Community Outreach
The AR Rihla Projects are a community led organisation based in South London, supporting people experiencing homelessness and those that just need an extra big of support to be able to focus on their own lives. We have supported them through donations before, but the Leiho team was able to finally join their AR Food Project team at their weekly community soup kitchen in Croydon.
We were told that they were in need of rice and water, so we sent them 72 cartons of water as well as large bags of rice that will be enough to feed 1000 people. On the day of the outreach in Croydon, we also brought items of essentials like women's sanitary care items, baby wipes, handkerchiefs and snacks. They also support women and young people from low income families to get the essentials they need. We really loved meeting Amy and the volunteers at AR Projects, not only are they selfless and kind, they are also committed to helping people rebuild their lives.
